About Our Doodle Breeding Program

Our Doodle breeding philosophy focuses on health, temperament, and coat quality. We carefully select breeding pairs based on comprehensive genetic health testing, temperament evaluations, and proper physical structure. We prioritize producing healthy, well-socialized Doodles with low-shedding, hypoallergenic coats and the affectionate, intelligent personalities that make these breeds so special.
Absolutely! We encourage all prospective families to meet or see photos and videos of both parents. This helps you understand the temperament, size, and coat characteristics your Doodle puppy may inherit. We're transparent about our breeding program and happy to share information about lineage, personality traits, and any relevant health history of the parents.
All our breeding Doodles undergo comprehensive health screening including OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certification for hips, elbows, and patellas, cardiac evaluations, and comprehensive eye examinations by a veterinary ophthalmologist. We also conduct DNA testing for hereditary conditions common to Poodles, Cavaliers, and Retrievers, and maintain detailed health records for all breeding dogs. Health certificates and test results are available for review.

Doodle Health & Vaccinations

Each Doodle puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations including DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus) and Bordetella. They also receive thorough veterinary examinations, deworming treatments, and microchipping. Before going to their new home, puppies undergo general wellness checks. All health documentation, vaccination records, and test results are provided to new owners.
Yes! We offer a comprehensive genetic health guarantee covering hereditary conditions common to Doodle breeds. Additionally, we provide a 30-day health guarantee from the time of pickup or delivery, during which you can have your puppy examined by your own veterinarian. If any genetic or congenital health issues are discovered within the guarantee period, we will work with you on a solution, which may include replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

Doodle Training & Care

Doodles are widely known for being wonderful family dogs. They are typically gentle, playful, and highly affectionate with children, making them excellent companions for families of all sizes. Early socialization with other dogs and proper introduction to other household pets is always encouraged. Their friendly and adaptable nature usually makes them get along beautifully with other pets in the home.
Doodles are energetic and intelligent dogs that require 30 to 60 minutes of exercise daily, depending on their size and specific breed mix (e.g., Cavapoo vs. Goldendoodle). This should include brisk walks, play sessions, and plenty of mental stimulation. Puppies need shorter, more frequent exercise sessions to protect their developing joints. Without adequate physical and mental exercise, Doodles can become bored, so interactive games and puzzle toys are highly recommended.
Positive reinforcement training works exceptionally well with Doodles. Thanks to their Poodle and Retriever/Spaniel heritage, they are highly intelligent and eager to please, responding beautifully to food rewards, praise, and play. Consistency and patience are key. Start training and socialization early, keeping sessions short and engaging. Additionally, because of their unique coats, we recommend getting them accustomed to gentle brushing and grooming handling from a very young age.
