Designer Breeds Born from the Best of Both Worlds

The Doodle movement began in the late 1980s and 1990s, driven by a desire to create companion dogs that combined the Poodle's hypoallergenic, low-shedding coat with the affectionate, sociable temperaments of beloved breeds like the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bichon Frise, and others. The result was a new generation of dogs that quickly captured hearts across the globe.

Today, Doodle breeds are among the most popular and sought-after dogs worldwide. Each variety brings its own unique mix of traits, but they all share a common thread: exceptional intelligence, a loving nature, and coats that are far kinder to allergy sufferers than many purebred alternatives. Our Doodle Varieties

We raise several Doodle varieties, each with their own unique charm:

Cavapoo

A cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. Weight: 12–25 lbs. Renowned for their gentle, loving temperament and soft wavy or curly coat. Ideal for families, seniors, and first-time dog owners — one of the most affectionate Doodle varieties available.

Toy Poodle

Weight: 4–6 lbs. Height: up to 10 inches. The purebred Toy Poodle brings all the Poodle intelligence and hypoallergenic qualities in the most compact package. Highly trainable, elegant, and deeply devoted to their families — a timeless choice.

Miniature Doodle

Weight: 15–30 lbs. Bred using a Miniature Poodle parent for a slightly larger, sturdier companion. Perfect for active families who want a playful, energetic dog with all the Doodle charm and a coat that's easy to live with.

Coat Varieties

Doodle coats vary depending on which parent's genes are more dominant:

Wavy / Fleece

The most common Doodle coat. Soft, flowing, and loosely wavy — low to minimal shedding. Requires brushing 3–4 times per week and professional grooming every 6–8 weeks.

Curly / Wool

Tighter curls inherited from the Poodle side. The most hypoallergenic option, with very little to no shedding. Requires daily brushing to prevent matting and regular grooming appointments.

Straight / Flat

Less common; more influenced by the non-Poodle parent gene. Silky and smooth with moderate shedding. The easiest coat to maintain, though less hypoallergenic than the wavy or curly types.

Health Considerations

Doodles benefit from hybrid vigor, but awareness of breed-specific conditions is important:

Hip Dysplasia

Common in many small to medium breeds. Responsible breeders screen parent dogs to reduce the risk. Maintaining a healthy weight and regular exercise significantly supports joint health throughout their life.

Eye Conditions

Some Doodle varieties can be predisposed to progressive retinal atrophy (PRA) or other eye concerns. Reputable breeders conduct CAER eye certifications on breeding pairs to minimize inherited risk.

Ear Infections

Their floppy, often curly-coated ears can trap moisture and debris. Regular ear cleaning is an important part of routine grooming to prevent infections and keep your Doodle comfortable.
